TML Intergovernmental Employee Benefits Pool provides a comprehensive benefit package for its employees that begins on the first day of employment. These include:
- Employee Medical Coverage (subject to pre-existing conditions)
- Employee Dental Coverage

- $10,000 in Basic Life and AD&D Coverage
- Term Life Insurance in the amount of the Employee's annual salary
- Long-Term Disability Coverage after 90 days of continuous employment
- Employees' Assistance Program
- 2 to 1 match at retirement of the Employee's monthly 6% contribution to the Texas Municipal Retirement System
- 6.2% monthly contribution to a Deferred Compensation Plan
- 10 paid vacation days per fiscal year (10/1 - 9/30)
- 11 paid sick days per fiscal year
- 3 paid personal days per fiscal year
- 8 paid holidays per fiscal year
